Dr. Patricia L. Smith is Jewell Animal Hospital’s Veterinarian. She is Nationally Accredited Licensed DVM with over 30+ years of Veterinary Experience.

• Graduate of University of Missouri College of Agriculture (BS in Animal Science)

Dr. Smith is a St. Louis native who is married with three children. Her husband Mark is also a veterinarian. Her eldest son Hayden is a Master Mechanic. Her second son Hamilton is finishing his college baseball career before going to law school. Her daughter KatieMarie is a cadet at the Air Force Academy, Class of 2027..
She is extremely passionate about quality pet care. She will take the time to explain your pet’s health in detail and will advise you on options you have to meet your pets personalized health needs. She is also passionate about helping rescue animals find loving homes. Her passion translated to Judy’s Forgotten Jewells, which is her 501c3 no kill animal rescue that she started in 2009. She believes that every animal deserves a chance to have quality pet care and a loving home.
